Few guitarists in Britain are as well regarded in the business as Ed Deane.  Referred to as the King of British Blues by the English blues press in the 1970s, Ed Deane has played guitar and slide with sensibility and eloquence in everything from blues and straight folk to many forms of rock for the better part of four decades. 
Deane belongs to that vintage of dedicated musicians whose chief interest and enjoyment rest in providing other artists with the instrumental color that can best enhance their vision.  A blues player by predilection, Deane has contributed his tasty guitar work to so many projects in so many different subgenres that rock seems to be an insufficient but apt umbrella under which to view his eventful career.
Besides the countless recording sessions, concerts and tours, Deane also has been a full-fledged member of numerous bands, including The Woods Band, Granny’s Intentions, Juice On the Loose, Chris Jagger’s Atcha Acoustic, Dana Gillespie, and others.
